Police, in overnight drives, arrested 75 persons including two Jamaat, and BNP activists from different places of the district till Sunday morning. The law enforcers also recovered 12 liters wine and 20 pieces of yaba grams during the drives.

The ASP said that of the arrestees, 2 Jamaat -BNP men were held in the drives. They were accused of carrying out sabotages.
Besides,9 persons were accused in regular cases while 64 others had arrest-warrants, he added.
