Chittagong Metropolitan Police conducted drive in the city against the violation of traffic rules by the transports for last 24 hours up to 10 am on Thursday morning.
During the campaign by traffic police of CMP , 745 MV cases have been lodged and detained 72 vehicles, a CMP sources said.
Deputy Police commissioner(Traffic) confirmed the matter to this correspondent while contacted . Sources said out of the cases lodged against 18 CNG run auto-rickshwa was and 359 cases for not complying the installation of fare meters in their vehicles and 386 cases against heavy transports for violating the traffic rules .
