About 713 telephone lines and internet services of Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL) under Nilkhet Exchange got disconnected due to cutting of underground optical fiber.
The clients of Suble Das Lane, Lalbag road, Lalbag Fort road, Lalbag post, Harnath Ghosh road, Lalbag Chourasta, BUET Chourasta and adjacent areas have been out of both telephone and internet connections following the damage of the fiber for development works, said a BTCL press release on Monday. BTCL is working for reinstating the disconnected telephone lines and internet connections.
The BTCL authority regretted to its customers for the unexpected inconvenience, the release added.
