71 rivers marked fall, 13 rise

Water levels in 71 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked fall and 13 stations recorded rise.
Among the 90 monitored water level stations, four river stations have been registered steady while two rivers are flowing above the danger mark, a bulletin issued by FFWC said here on Friday.
The Dhaleswari at Elasin and the Kobadak at Jhikargacha are flowing above its danger levels by 10 cm, and 79 cm respectively.
Significant rainfall was recorded in some stations in different districts during the past 24 hours ending at 9 am yesterday.
A total of 86mm rainfall was recorded at Lama and 40 at Bandarban.
