Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard seized some 70,000 Yaba tablets in separate drives in Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar district from Friday night to Saturday morning.
Lieutenant Commander BNM Hamidul Islam, Assistant Director (Intelligence) of Coast Guard East Zone, said they recovered 50,000 Yaba pills, which were left abandoned at Saidpara, on Friday night.
Early Saturday, they also seized 20,000 Yaba pills which were concealed underground at Jallardip, he said.
