Staff Reporter: Seven workers suffered seriously burn injuries on Sunday morning in a incident during their work of melting iron at a steel mill in the capitals Kadamtali area.
Of them, three severely injured workers are receiving treatment at the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
They are identified as Rasel (32), Redwan (27), Sohagh (25), Babar (35), Dulal (30), and Shujon (27) were melting iron at Kamal Steel Mills when the incident occurred, a supervisor of the factory told journalists.
Among them, Babar, Shujon and Dulal are currently being treated in the burn unit. The rest others were discharged after giving primary treatment, the hospital sources confirmed it.
