The High Court on Thursday granted interim bail to seven leaders of Trade Union Centre (TUC) of garments workers in a case filed over attacking and assaulting officials and employees of Bangladesh Garment
Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) on January 31.
The HC bench of Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Sahidul Karim passed the order. The seven leaders are-TUC general secretary Joly Talukder, organizing secretary K M Mintu, international secretary Monjur Moin, Bangladesh Communist Party (CPB) central committee member Sajedur Rahman Shamim,TUC Gazipur district unit general secretary Jalal Howlader, Savar-Ashulia unit president Lutfor Rahman and TUC central committee member Mohammad Shahjahan.
