TNN, Mumbai :One person was killed and many were injured when a 7-storey building collapsed in Santa Cruz in Mumbai’s western suburbs on Friday morning.The deceased has been identified as Sudha Shridharan. She was 32 years old. The three injured are: Akshay Kesarkar (18), Sita Kesarkar (60) and Rohini Jagtap (47).The building was vacant but some people were living on the ground floor.The building, called Shankar Lok, was given an eviction notice, citing dilapidated condition in 2007.Only one family was staying on the ground floor after it had challenged the eviction and got a stay from the court.
