7 more killed in road crashes

At least seven more persons including a female candidate of Assistant Teacher of Primary School were killed and 20 others seriously injured in separate road crashes across the country on Friday.
In Rajbari, a female candidate of Assistant Teacher of Primary School was killed and her father was seriously injured when a truck hit their bike at Islampur area under the Baliakandi upazila of the district on Friday morning
AKM Azmul Huda, Officer-in-Charge of Baliakandi Police Station confirmed the news to the media.
In Khulna, at least two persons were killed in separate road accidents in the district on Friday.
An unknown person, 35, was killed as a pick-up van rammed him on the Khan Jahan Ali (R) Bridge on Thursday night.
While another woman passenger of an easy bike named Salma Begum was killed when a truck hit her at Taltola area of the city on Friday.
Shafiqul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Khan Jahan Ali Police Station confirmed the matter to the media.
In Madaripur, a motorcyclist named Kamrul Mollah, 17, was killed when a passenger bus rammed him at Kornopara area under the Kalkini upazila of the district.
