7 more killed in road crashes

At least seven persons were killed and 20 others seriously injured in separate road crashes across the country on Sunday.
In Lakshmipur, a minor girl named Aklima Akther was killed when a truck struck her in Ramgati upazila of the district on Sunday.
The accident happened at Chowdhury Beribad area of the upazila.
Arisul Haque, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ramgati Police Station told the matter to the media.
In Moulvibazar, a woman was killed and two others were injured when a passenger bus hit a CNG-run auto rickshaw in Niteshawar area under Sadar upazila of the district on Sunday.
Deceased Mamata Begum, 45, was a resident in Shahibagh area under Sreemangal upazila.
Moulvibazar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Dulal Dhar said the matter to the media.
In Khishorganj, a farmer named Farid Miah,60, was killed when a auto-riskhaw rammed him in Nikle Upazila of the district on Sunday noon.
Kamrul Islam, Chairman of Jaroitola Union confirmed the news to the media.
In Chattogram, a port labour named Ali Ajgar,40, was killed when truck hit him in port city on Sunday noon.
Hamididur Rahman, Staff of CMCH police Outpost told the news to the media.
In Savar (Dhaka), an unidentified person was killed when a truck rammed him at salehepur arera of the city on Sunday morning.
AFM Sayeed, Officer-in-Charge of Savar Model Police Station confirmed the news to the media.
In Barishal, a Bank Officer named Akter Hamid, 52, was killed when a bus hit a motorcycle on the Barishal-Dhaka Highway on Sunday morning.

In Dhaka, an unidentified motorcyclist was killed when a passenger bus hit his bike at Shanir Akhra area under Jatrabari of the city on Saturday evening.
