7 killed in road crashes

At least seven persons were killed and 15 others critically injured in several road crashes across the country on Friday.
In Gazipur, at least three persons were killed and two others injured following a collision between a bus and a auto-rickshaw at Birujuli Dighirpar area in Kapasia upazila of Gazipur.
The accident took place on the Dhaka-Kishoreganj Road on Thursday night.
The deceased were identified as Mazharul Islam, 33, Sohel Mia, 50 and his daughter Ruma
All the casualties were passengers of auto-rickshaw. The injured were hospitalized locally, said Md. Rafiqul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Kapasia Police station.
In kishoreganj, Two riders of a bike were killed when they tried to cross the railway line. A passenger train hit them.
The victims were identified as Borhanuddin,34, from Pakondia and Abdul Hamid,55, from Mymenshing.
Md Abdur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of General Railway Police Station said.
In Gopalganj, a government employee named Mollah Moniruzzaman was killed in a road crash in district town on Friday morning.
 Moniruzzaman was a Food-Inspector of Gopalganj Sadar Upazila.
In Narsindi, an youth named Robin Miah, 18, was killed in a tragic road crash in Sadar Upazila of the district on Friday morning.
Meanwhile, at least five persons were injured in a road accident in Puthia upazila of Rajshahi on Friday noon.
The incident took place on the Rajshahi-Dhaka highway in Tarapur Dhalan area in the upazila .
