Seven people were killed as a truck crashed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Mymensingh-Netrakona road in Tarakanda upazila here on Sunday.
The identities of the deceased could not be ascertained yet.
Officer-in-charge of Tarakanda Police Station Mazharul Haque said, the district town-bound truck from Netrakona smashed the three-wheeler coming from the opposite direction at Doyarampur at around 6pm.
Six auto-rickshaw passengers and its driver died on the spot, he said, adding that the victims include three women and a child.
