Mymensingh Correspondent :Seven persons were killed and 15 others injured when a bus fell into a roadside ditch at Bhaluka Upazila’s Meherabari around 7am on Saturday. The injured are now undergoing treatment at Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) and Bhaluka Health Complex. Of the deceased, four have been identified as Fazlul Haque, 45, and Rofaz Uddin, 40, from Bhaluka, Abdul Motaleb, 43, from Trishal in Mymensingh and Nawshad, 35, from Nilphamari.Bhaluka Model Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mamun Khan said that a Dhaka-bound bus of the Shyamoli Bangla Paribahan plunged into roadside ditch after its driver lost control over the steering and fell into the roadside ditch, leaving two passengers dead on the spot and others injured. Five of the injured have died on way to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital (MMCH), the OC said.Later, another succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Bodies of two deceased have been kept at Bhaluka Health Complex and the remainders at MMCH morgue, the OC said.
