Police rounded up 7 persons on Tuesday night allegedly involved with the robbery of two jewellery shops of the port city that occurred on December 13 last.
Police recovered 4 arms and looted gold ornaments from them.
These robbers were rounded up from city areas following the separate drives in the city.
Officer incharge of Kotwali thana told that the suspect robbers were rounded up alongwith 4 arms and looted gold ornaments and counter fire occurred in between the policemen and the robbers while rounded up them.
In the fire, atleast 3 police constable injured , sources said.
Mentionable that daring dacoity occurred in two jewellery house in the port city near new market on Decmeber 13 last through blasting hand bombs and grenade left one pedestrian killed .
Two separate dacoity case have been lodged with the kotwali thana in city accusing 11 persons in connection, sources said.
