In Mymensingh’s Gafargaon, Pagla police have arrested seven gamblers with equipment of gambling for e-transaction using an online electronic device through a mobile phone.
They were arrested from Joydharkhali village under Pagla police station on Friday night.
The arrested are Habibullah (28), Anisur Rahman (18), Ariful Islam (19), Iqbal Ahmed (21), Rajib (19), Rana (18) and Robin (18).
Pagla Police Station OC Mohammad Rasheduzzaman said the arrested persons were being handed over to Mymensingh court after a case was filed against them under the Digital Security Act.
