Chattogram Bureau :
Anti corruption commission (ACC), Chattogram Chapter filed 18 suits before the court for deceiving and forging of customs documents against seven former Customs official and 17 others consists of importers and C& F agents recently.
This was apprised in a press briefing held at ACC District Coordination Office-1 by the Deputy Director Md. Lutful Kabir on Tuesday. Asstt. Director of headquarters office Shiekh Golam Mowla, Asstt. Director Afroza Hoque Khan and Deputy Asstt. Director Shahidur Rahman filed these case as plaintiffs .
The former customs officials as alleged include Revenue officers Md. Shafiul Alam, Humayun Kabir, Pranbandhu Bikas, Md Nizamul Hoque, Syed Humayun Akhter, Md. Shafiul Alam and Saifur Rahman. Deputy Director Luftul Kabir said the accused inconivance with the customs officials took delivery of imported consignments with false declaration and forged custom documents during the period of 2010,2011, and 2012.
