Seven assistant officers of Basic Bank were sacked on Tuesday for submitting fake certificates, a flagrant violation of the rules.
According to official sources, the management took the decision to dismiss them, and it was approved by the board of the bank. Besides, the contracts of bank deputy general manager Azizul Haque and 2 security guards were terminated upon expiry of their contractual duration.
