Mymensingh Gafargaon upazila fugitive accused in the murder case. Shamim (35) was arrested by Pagla police after 5 long years. He is a resident of Charbaria village of Shamim upazila.
There is a murder case against Shamim at Jamalpur Railway Police Station. Jamal was arrested on Sunday evening by ASI Shawkat of Pagla police station. He was sent to court on Monday.
Meanwhile, Pagla police arrested Suruj Mia, 42, Al Amin, 28, and Sadeq, 30, of Nama Langair village in the upazila on Sunday night.
Police also arrested Habibur, 25, of Maijbari village in the upazila on Sunday night and Ekhlach of Jatrasiddhi village, a regular accused.
Pagla police OC said. Rasheduzzaman said the six arrested accused were handed over to the wise court on Monday. Police operations to eradicate drugs and gambling will continue.
