A daylong upazila level science quiz competition namely the ‘Sixth Science Olympiad’ has been held in Chitalmari of Bagherhat. Students of 12 secondary schools and 3 higher secondary schools participated in the competition organized by the National Museum of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mohammad Liton Ali presided over the competitions held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium on Wednesday. Upazila Parishad Chairman Ashok Kumar Baral was present as the chief guest on the occasion. Upazila Awami League President Md Babul Hossain Khan and General Secretary Piyush Kanti Roy were present as special guests.
Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Mofizur Rahman and Academic Supervisor Pradeep Kumar Bhowmik jointly conducted the program.
Tripalli Secondary School won the first place in the quiz competition. Prizes are distributed among the winners at the end of the competition.
