The 6th GPH Gulf Tournament 2017 held at the Bhatiari Gulf and Country Club on Saturday. President of the Bhatiari Gulf and Country Club Major General Mohammad Jahangir Kabir inaugurated the tournament as chief guest.
Addressing the function, Jahangir Kabir said, “GPH is doing business as well as contributing for the sports which is a good sign for us.”
The chairman of GPH Group Muhammed Jahangir Alam was present at the inaugural function as special guest. Addressing the function, chairman of GPH Group said, “we are going to set up a plant with most modern and world famous technology.
It is our dream to produce most modern iron items. We have signed agreement with Primetal Technology GmBH Austria, later signed agreement with 12 banks led by UCB for loan of 154 Million US Dollars to realize the project. After that agreement was signed with world famous Indian company M N Dastur and Company Private Limited. Following the signing of agreements, the procedure of setting up the plant started.”
Among others, Vice Chairman of 6th GPH Gulf Tournament 2017 Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Taufiqul Islam, Executive Director of GPH (Plant) Madani M Imtiaj Hossain, Media Advisor Osman Gani Chowdhury and top officials were present at the function. A total of 133 golf players from home and abroad participated in the 6th GPH Gulf Tournament 2017.
