Police, in overnight drives, arrested67 persons including two Jamaat, and Shibir activists from different places of the district till Saturday morning. The law enforcers also recovered 12 liters wine and 20 pieces of yaba grams during the drives.

The ASP said that of the arrestees, 2 Jamaat men were held in the drives. They were accused of carrying out sabotages.
Besides, six persons were accused in regular cases while 59 others had arrest-warrants, he added.
