A 65- years old man was stabbed to death by his rival groups at Achmita Bazar in katiadi upazila of Kishoreganj on Thursday evening over supremacy, previous enmity.
The victim was identified as Md. Alaluddin (65) from Paishaka village under Achmita Union of Katiadi Upazila.
Police Super (SP) of Kishoreganj Mashrukur Rahman Khaled BPM (Bar) told the new nation that the killing over previous enmity, supremacy.
Katiadi Model Police Station officer -in-charge (OC) Abdul Jalil said that receiving on information police rushed to the spot and dead body recovered.
Police also arrested main accused Judge Miah (40), son of Mofizuddin, from the spot,OC added.
The body was sent to Kishorganj General Hospital mourge for autospy.
A case was field in this connection with Katiadi Police Station.
