65 more female workers return home from KSA

Sixty-five female domestic workers have returned from Saudi Arabia with signs of torture.
They landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Thursday night by Etihad Airways.
All of them were at the Riyadh Mahra Human Resources Company and Immigration Camp.
Among them, 37 female domestic helps returned with the assistance of BRAC Migration Program.
Shariful Hasan, head of the BRAC Migration Program, said, “In the last two months, a large number of female workers returned from KSA with signs of torture and empty handed.” He said BRAC Migration Program stands by the oppressed female workers, as part of humanity and social responsibility.
Sources said that these female workers were working in different areas of the Kingdom and took shelter in the immigration camp afterward.
The Bangladesh Embassy in Riyadh and the Wage Earners Welfare Board of the Ministry of Overseas Welfare and Overseas Employment are helping to bring them back home.
