61 rivers marked fall, 24 rise

Water levels in 61 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked fall and 24 stations recorded rise.
Among the 90 monitored water level stations, three river stations have been registered steady while two rivers are flowing above the danger mark, a bulletin issued by FFWC said here on Friday.
The Gorai at Kamarkhali and the Kobadak at Jhikargacha are flowing above its danger levels by 6 cm and 117 cm respectively.
Significant rainfall was recorded in some stations in different districts during the last 24 hours ending at 9 am yesterday.
A total of 100mm rainfall was recorded Parshuram, 62mm at Brahmanbaria, 56mm at Bhagyakul, 52mm at Naogaon, 38mm at Pabna, 33.6mm at Mohadebpur, 33mm at Dhaka and 25mm at Panchagarh.
