Detectives detained 61 alleged gamblers from a hotel in Chittagong city’s Alonkar Mor area early on Wednesday.
On information, police raided the Hotel City Inn around 12:30am and detained them from the fourth floor of the building, said AAM Humayun Kabir, additional deputy commissioner (west) of the Detective Branch of Chittagong Metropolitan Police.
They were taken to the DB office. Legal actions would be taken after verifying their identities, said the ADC.
