UNB, Dhaka :Up to 60 lakh voters will be casting their votes across some 2,700 polling stations -1093 in DNCC, 889 in DSCC and 719 in CCC- in the three city corporations on April 28.A total 48 contenders -20 in DSCC, 16 in DNCC and 12 in CCC – are running for the three mayoral posts, while more than 1100 councillor candidates for 134 general councillor and 45 reserved seats in the elections.Some 50,000 election officials will conduct balloting in elections.There are 23,45,374 voters -12,24,701 male and 11,20,673 female-in DNCC comprising of 36 wards and 12 reserved seats, while 18,70,753 voters -10,09,286 males and 8,61,467 females-in DSCC comprising of 57 wards and 19 reserved seats, and 18,13,449 voters –9,37,053 males and 8,76,396 females-in CCC comprising of 41 wards and 14 reserved seats.
