Six unnamed persons were sued in a case filed on Wednesday over the recent abduction of a Chattogram-based journalist.
The victim, Golam Sarwar, a staff reporter of Ajker Surjodoy and executive editor of online news portal ctnewsbd.com, filed the case against six unnamed accused with Kotwali Police Station this afternoon.
Mohammad Mohsin, officer-in-charge of the police station, confirmed the development to media.
Earlier, Golam Sarwar was released from Chattogram Medical College Hospital where he was being treated after he was rescued from Sitakunda upazila on November 1.
