In a latest reshuffle in the civil administration, the government has transferred six secretaries to new offices.
A gazette notification was issued by the public administration ministry in this regard on Sunday afternoon.
According to the notification, the Land Appeal Board Chairman Dr Md Abdur Rob Howlader has been made member of planning commission while secretary to primary and mass education ministry Mesbah-ul Alam transferred to the land ministry as secretary.
Member of planning commission Md Humayun Khalid has been made secretary to primary and mass
education ministry and Rector of BCS Administration Academy Md Sohrab Hossain made secretary to education ministry.
Director General of Immigration and Passport Department NM Zeaul Alam has been made acting cabinet secretary while Additional Secretary Nazimuddin Chowdhury to energy and mineral resources division has been made acting secretary of the same department.
The order will come into effect immediately, the notification mentioned.
