Police arrested six alleged robbers with fire arms in a raid from Modonhat area at Sonaichari Union under Sitakunda upazila in Chittagong Saturday night.
Police claimed recovering one LG, bullets, lethal weapons from the possession of the arrested persons.
The arrested persons are identified as Mohammad Roushan uz Zaman (45), Mohammad Selim (28), Mohammad Saiful Islam (24), Mohammad Farid (45), Mohammad Salahuddin (23) and Mohammad Abdul Jalil (18). Police alleged the arrested people were preparing for committing robbery at the village.
