Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) rescued six people, including three women, while they were being trafficked to India through Putkhali border point here early Thursday.
All the victims hail from different areas of sadar upazila in Narail district.
Shamsur Rahman, in-charge of Putkhali BGB-23 camp, said a team of the border force, on secret information, conducted a drive in the border area early in the morning and arrested the six people while they were being trafficked to India.
