6 more killed in road crashes

At least six persons including an Imam of a Masjid were killed and 20 others seriously injured in separate road crashes across the country on Tuesday.
In Habiganj, a woman was killed and four others were injured following a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Madhabpur upazila of the district on Tuesday.
The deceased could not be identified instantly.
Md. Liakot Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sayestaganj Highway Police Station confirmed the news to the media.
In Chattogram, an elderly man named
 Shamsul Alam,58, was killed and four others were injured after a bus ran over her at Putia of the district on Tuesday.
Mizanur Rhaman, Inspector of Putia highway police told the news to the media.
In Mymensingh, an Imam of a Masjid was killed when a truck rammed him in front of Nandail Police Station early Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Maulana Abdul Halim,55, from Bashati village and worked as assaistant Imam of Model Thana Masjid.
Mamun Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Nandail Highway Police confirmed the news.
In Savar, an unknown pedestrian,55, was killed when a truck rammed him at Ashulia on Monday night.
In Madaripur, a elderly woman named Marjina Begum,70, was killed when a truck hit her at Maler Kandi under Shibchar upazila of the district.
In Gazipur, a motorcyclist named Wares Miah, 40, was killed when a truck struck his bike in Kaliakoir upazila of the district.
