Regional Election Commission office allocated election symbols to six mayoral candidates of the Chattogram City Corporation polls schedule to be held in March 29 next.
Returning Officer and Regional Election Officer Md Hasanuzzaman declared the symbols to respective candidates at Shilpakala Academy Auditorium yesterday. REC allocates Boat Symbol to AL nominee Rezaul Karim Chowdhury, Paddy sheep to BNP nominee Dr Shahdat Hossain, Candle to BIF nominee MA Matin, Mango to National Peoples Party nominee Abul Mansoor, Chair symbol to IFB nominee Wahed Murad and Hand Fan to Islami Andolan Bangladesh Jannatul Islam .
