Police rounded up six madrasa students from the urs mahfil of Ziaul Hoque Maizbhandari Darbar sharif in Fatikchari upazila of chittagong on Thursday evening, district police sources said.
Police arrested them over the suspicious movement in the urs mahfil as alleged by the Urs volunteers, sources said. Fatikchari thana police Sub Inspector Sadequl Islam told that the volunteers in the Urs Mahfil detained them over their suspicious movement in the mahfil and suspected them are the students of Quomi Madrasa of the area. Sensing the news of detention by the volunteers, police stormed on the spot and arrested them. Out of the arrestees, 3 belong to Hathazari Madrasa and others 3 of Nazirhat Quomi madrasa.
