Chattogram Bureau :
Central leader of Jamaat-e-Islami and former Member Parliament of South Chattogram has been arrested by Metropolitan police from Jawtala area under Kulshi thana in city on Friday afternoon.
Besides, more 5 Jamaat men were also arrested from the same venue. Joint team of Detective Police North and Bandar zone conducted in a house of the area where Jamaat leader Shahjahan Chowdhury alongwith other 5 party activists were apprehended.
Police sources said they were holding a secret meeting of the part in the house, Additional Police commissioner Ms.Amena Begum admitted to the media men.
