Six devotees of Biswa Ijtema were killed and seven others injured as a bus rammed a human hauler at Amtoli in
Bhaluka upazila on Saturday night.
One of the deceased was identified as Shahjahan, 30 while identities of five others could not be known immediately.
Abdul Motaleb Mia, officer-in-charge of Bhaluka Model Police Station, said the Bhaluka-bound speedy bus crashed into the Tongi-bound human hauler, carrying devotees of Biswa Ijtema, around 10:30pm, leaving three passengers of the human hauler dead on the spot and 10 others injured.
Among the injured, seven were rushed to Bhaluka Health Complex where two people succumbed to their injuries.
Meanwhile, one of the injured, Shahjahan, succumbed to his injuries on way to Mymensingh Medical College.
