Chittagong Centre of Bangladesh Television will telecast 6 hours programmes daily in separate independent channel very shortly.
The daily programme from 4pm to 10 pm will be telecasted in this channel .
This was disclosed in the advisory meeting of BTV Chittagong centre held on Monday by the Director General of BTV Abdul Mannan .
A number of political personality, artists, litereteurs , cultural activists, journalists, intellectuals were present in it. In the meet, BTV Director General said govt has taken the project for development of CTV at a cost of Tk.34 crores and during the six hour long programs, only national news of BTV will telecast at 8 pm and CTV will run as a independent TV centre .
Among others , deputy commissioner of Chittagong Meshabuddin , AL leader Moslemuddin, Mahtabuddin Chowdhury , journalists Abdul Momen, Nazimudin shamal , and the artists of Swadin Bangla Betar Kendra were also present in it.
Deputy commissioner of Chittagong said Prime Minister is going to fulfill the longfelt demand of Chittagong for turning the Ctg TV centre into a full-fledged TV centre apart from Dhaka centre.
