Joint forces in separate drives from Tuesday night to early Wednesday arrested 25 people, including six BNP and Jamaat-Shibir activists, in different places of the district on sabotage charges.
Enamul Haque, sub-inspector of Satkhira district police, said the joint team conducted separate drives in the seven upazilas and arrested 25 people, including one of BNP, one of Jamaat and four of Shibir.
Among the arrestees, 10 people were from sadar upazila, three from Kalaroa upazila, two from Kaliganj, two from Ashashuni, three from Debhata, three from Patkelghata and two from Shymnagar upazila.
