Police recovered 22 cows which were snatched from Baraigram Upazila in Natore on Friday.
6 snatchers were held in this connection from different placest with two looted trucks and one truck used in the work and Tk 1 lakh in cash were recovered by the police. Superintendent of Police (SP) Saifur Rahman gave this information in a press briefing at the Police Superintendent’s office on Friday. The arrested are Fazle Rabbi son of Jamal Mandal of Kayemkola village of Baraigram upazila, Sekender Ali son of Afshar Ali of Chakdamar village of Gabtali upazila of Bogra, Shishir Mandal son of Sekendar Ali of Mirzapur village of Bheramara upazila of Kushtia and Mintu Bepari son of Askar Bepari of Baggadipara of the same upazila, Nowkhadara of Tarash upazila of Sirajganj. Rasel Bepari son of dead Saiful Bepari of the village and Farooq Hossain son of Sultan Ahmed of Chargobindpur area of Madaripur upazila of Madaripur district.
