Chittagong Bureau :
Two passengers along with 6.5 kilograms of gold were held at Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport on Tuesday.
Sources said airport customs nabbed two persons named Helal Uddin and Nurul Aziz respectively along with gold from a flight came from Dubai on Tuesday night.
Chittagong Customs Assistant Commissioner (Airport) Mashiur Rahman Mandol told the New Nation that on suspicion luggage of these two passengers was checked and found 6.5 kgs of gold. But it was wrapped with brass. So it should be ascertained whether it’s gold or not after necessary test.
