On the occasion of 68th birth anniversary of noted litterateur, filmmaker and playwright Humayun Ahmed Channel i organised a fair titled Himu Mela for fifth time on the premises of the channel.
The fair was inaugurated at 2:30pm where Himu lovers wearing yellow colour panjabis. Actress and wife of Humayun Ahmed Meher Afroze Shaon, main sponsor of the fair and also Managing Director and CEO of Dynamic Consumers and Chemicals Md Nazmul Hasan, noted singers Khurshid Alam, Fakir Alamgir, Selim Chowdhury, editor of Ananda Alo Rezanur Rahman, Proprietor of Anyo Prokash Mazharul Islam, publishers Farid Ahmed and Monirul Haque, members of Himu Family, among others, were present at the inauguration of the fair. During that time Humayun made movies and songs were screened on the open stage.
In the fair, Humayun Ahmed written books, DVDs of his made movies and plays were on display. Channel i and Radio Bhumi telecasted the event live.
