With the theme of ‘Destination Next’ to showcase country’s furniture and interior décor products, BFID Expo, is all set to welcome a stream of foreign buyers and local enthusiasts from today to Wednesday and scheduled to be held at the Navaratri Hall (Hall 04) of International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB).
This expo is a collaborative initiative of Export Promotion Bureau, Bangladesh Furniture Exporters Association, BanglaKraft, BJDPMEA, BFIOA and JDPC, said a press release.
In this regards, a press conference took place in the office of Export Promotion Bureau where representatives from all the leading news outlets were present.
“We believe Bangladesh possesses the potential to be the ‘Destination Next’ for global brands who are on the relentless lookout for manufacturing solutions. Since time memorial, the craftsmen and artisans of this land were blessed with the deft touch of artistic mastery. Besides the availability of the efficient labor force, introduction of superior technology and the constant patronage of the present Government have already made our furniture and allied sectors competitive enough to meet the global manufacturing demands,” said Bijoy Bhattacharjee, Vice-Chairman and CEO of EPB, one of the key organizers of this expo while its Director General Avijit Chowdhury spooked among others.
This year, country’s all leading furniture brands and home furnishing companies are participating in the expo. Visitors can go visit the expo from 10AM to 9PM every day and admission is fully complimentary.
