Phulbari thana police in Kurigram raided in the house of one Taijul Islam in Uttar Kashipur a frontier village of the upazila and seized 59 kg hemp early hours on Sunday and arrested the hemp trader. The value of the seized hemp at Tk. six lakh.The arrested was identified as Taijul Islam 25 son of Noor Amin in the village.Officer-in-charge of Phulbari police station Bazlur Rashid said a case was filed under the act of narcotics and the accused was sent to jail, he added.
