Fifty-eight new books landed on Monday, the 17th day of the Amar Ekushey Book Fair in Dhaka.
Of them, six are story books, two articles, 21 poems, three on research, nine children books, on biography, two on Liberation War, eight novels, one on history and five on other subjects.
Ten books were also unveiled on the Nazrul Mancha of the Bangla Academy premises yesterday.
The unveiled books are: Bangabandhur 7 Marcher Bhashon: Etihash 0 Tatwa by Dr Abdul Wahab, Jana Rog Ojana Kotha by Dr Saklain Russell, Godhulir Achal by Sarker Arun Jadu, Projonme Padabali by Azizur Rahman Aziz, Rubayat-e-Gazi Abdullahhel Baki by Abdullahhel Baki, Solar Home System by Professor Shahidul, Lao Thela by Abu Hena Roni, Ha Hutash by Anwarul Alam Sajal, Ayapefis by Mostafa Ahsan Habib and Fot Fot Fotash by Kazi Zahidul Islam.

A discussion on “Mahmudul Haquer Kotha Sahittye Gaddya Shasan” was held on the main podium of the fair yesterday.
Hasan Azizul Haque presided over the discussion while Abu Hena Mostafa Enam presented the keynote paper.
Rafique Kaiser, Anisul Haque and Ahmed Mostafa Kamal spoke the programme.

Discussion on “Kobi Mohammad Mahfujullah, Kobi Dilwar and Kobi Khandaker Ashraf Hossain” will be held today.
Professor Sirajul Islam Chowdhury will preside at the programme while Hasan Hafiz, Mostaque Ahmed Din and Onu Hossain will present three keynote papers.
