The government will award 56 entrepreneurs with commercially important person (CIP) (Industry) cards for their outstanding performances in respective fields in 2016.
Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu will hand over the CIP cards among the awardees at a function to be held at Sonargaon Hotel in the capital on Thursday.
Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Industries Ministry Omar Faruk Chowdhury and President of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) M Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin) will be present at the function.
