UNB, Kushtia :At least 54 students of a local women’s madrasah were hospitalised after they fell sick eating foods at a feast at the madrasah ground in Bheramara upazila on Wednesday.Locals said, 54 students of Ma Khadizatul Kobra Mohila Madrasah in the upazila ate foods, including pilau, beef, fish and curd at a party arranged on the madrasah premises at noon.Later they had loose motion and abdominal pain with vomiting. All the 54 students were admitted to Bheramara Upazila Health Complex at night.Nurul Islam, residential medical officer of the health complex, said the students fell sick due to food poisoning.
