UNB, Cox’s Bazar :Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard detained 54 people, including six crew and four brokers, from Saint Martin’s Island in Teknaf upazila early Tuesday while they were going to Malaysia illegally.Tipped off, an operation team of Coast Guard conducted a drive in the area around 4;00 am and arrested 54 people en route to Malaysia travelling by a trawler without valid documents, said Harun-or Rashid, Tekhnaf station commander of Coast Guard.The Coast Guard also arrested six crews and four brokers during the drive, he added.
