Police arrested 54 people, including two, in Madcomam in a special drive against Satkhira district-wide drug trafficking from Wednesday to yesterday evening.
The accused were arrested at different police stations in Satkhira district .
Inspector of Satkhira District Police Special Branch Ajam Khan said, 10 from Satkhira Sadar Police Station, 5 from Kolaroa Police Station, 5 from Tala Thana, 8 from Kaliganj Police Station, 11 from Shyamnagar Police Station, 8 from Assasuni Police Station, and seven from Debhata Police Station. Police arrested 3 accused in Patkelghata thana
He also said that the arrested people have cases of various charges including drug and sabotages.
