Bangladesh has sent 53,181 workers overseas in the month of September, who are expected to play a vital role in country’s socio-economic development.
A total of 4,77,000 workers went abroad till September this year to earn foreign currency, said a press release.
According to Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET), the country has sent over one crore twenty lakh people abroad from 1973 to 170 countries.
