The 52nd annual general meeting of Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB), Khulna Center was virtually held recently at its city center, said a press release.
Managing Director of West Zone Power Development Company Ltd (WZPDCL) Engineer Md Shafiq Uddin presided over the meeting while Honorary Secretary Professor Dr Engineer Sobhan Mia conducted it.
Special prayers were also offered for Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, his family members and four national leaders who were killed on August 15 and November 3 in 1975 respectively.
The meeting applauded all engineers, officers and employees for completion of massive development activities specially for installation of pre-payment meters in Khulna division and others districts under WZPDCL.
Member of the University Grant Commission Professor Dr Muhammad Alamgir, IEB Vice-Chairman Engineer Md Nuruzzaman, General Secretary Md Shahadat Hossain Shiblu, Engineer Md Abdus Sabur, engineer Md Nurul Huda and managing director of Khulna WASA engineer Md Abdullah joined the virtual meeting.
