52 rivers marked rise, 24 fall

Water levels in 52 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rise and 24 stations recorded fall.
Among the 84 monitored water level stations, six river stations have been registered steady while one station has been recorded flowing above danger level, a bulletin issued by FFWC said here on Monday.
The Kangsha at Jariajanjail is flowing above its danger level by 14 cm.
All the major river systems are in rising trend which may likely to continue in next 48 hours.
Significant rainfall was recorded in some stations in different districts during the last 24 hours ending at 6 am yesterday.
